Our story

In 1966, Glyn Stuart Jones founded his own company: G.S. Jones – builders of high quality homes. Over the next 25 years he gained a reputation throughout his local Lincolnshire and, as his reputation grew, so did the business. One by one each of Glyn’s three sons has joined the company, bringing with them their unique set of skills and expertise.

The three Directors, Stephen, Jonathan and Stuart, are passionate about the family business and under their management the turnover has increased severalfold. However, the focus on quality craftsmanship remains the same and G.S. Jones & Sons has a wide-reaching reputation as builders of homes of distinction. 

Glyn retired a few years ago and leaves the day-to-day running of the company to his sons but he still keeps an eye on things. As the company continues to grow and develop, Stephen, Jonathan and Stuart plan to carry on building luxury homes for the foreseeable future – or until they can pass the business on to the next generation.
